About the Artist

<- That's me, Steph :) a self taught animal artist with the coolest dog in the world.

I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, focusing predominantly on pencil art until 2 years ago when I dared to enter the world of colour via a neglected set of soft pastels & black paper pad with no job. After a few days experimenting I found that I really enjoyed working out how to use the pastels, how to get the results I envisaged, and with a LOT of persuasion I opened

1.5 years later and I now have the most genuine love for commissioned pet portraits! There's something incredibly humbling in being asked to draw something so special to someone.

I will always be a work in progress in every sense and I love the natural learning process, trial and error, experimenting, which I apply to my artwork wholeheartedly.

My goal in all of my work is to take a captured moment, a personality, something special and do it justice on paper, with love!
